Chronic pain is also caused by chronic inflammation, and can be eliminated
by making specific changes to foods, food additives, supplements, and medication.
Read about the 10 steps necessary to eliminate chronic disorders in my new book,
Chronic Pain Gone 90 Days.
Headaches (finally) are the bane of our modern, stressful lives. Headaches are also one of the most common forms of chronic pain. While many assume that chronic back pain, or joint and muscle pain is due to physical stress, it is obvious that chronic recurring headaches are not due to bonking your head. People who suffer with headaches know that they are going to keep coming back----for some reason. So you don't take one pill---you buy a big bottle and you keep getting your prescription refilled because drugs are the only treatment available today besides accupunture and chiropractic care. But those treatments don't eliminate headaches either. You need to keep going back, because you keep getting headaches.
And it doesn't matter what the doctors have called your particular headache---stress headaches, migraines, cluster headaches, etc. are descriptive terms that lead to the same treatments that only work temporarily.
So---what causes headaches?
Headaches have two causes:
1. Exposure to some chemical agent, either an allergen or a toxin.
Some people get headaches after breathing in certain perfumes, or cigarette smoke, or cleaning agents. Other headaches are caused by exposure to specific foods, food additives, supplements, or medications.
Go ahead---take out the pamphlet for any of the drugs you take and look at the list of side effects. Headaches are a common side effect to many drugs.
2. Withdrawal from chemical substances.
Anyone who drinks coffee regularly knows that quitting, or missing a morning dose will cause a headache. Likewise with medication, or cigarettes, or alcohol, or food allergens.
While many of you who suffer with headaches are looking for the miracle pill or supplement or treatment, the solution to ALL headaches is to find the chemical agent that is causing the headache, and eliminate it, or them.
This requires specific changes to what you are allowing into your bloodstream---not the addition of anything, but the subtraction of the specific agent, either allergen or toxin.
I have outlined the most common causes of headaches in my newest book, Chronic Pain Gone 90 Days. 99% of all headaches are caused by one, or a combination of only four specific agents. My book lists the 10 steps necessary to eliminate headaches.
About Chronic pain and pain
Conventional medicine is ineffective in eliminating chronic pain. That's by definition. All practitioners, including chiropractors, neurologists, surgeons, naturopaths, massage therapists, acupunturists, all learn the same thing in practice: All of these techniques work really well for regular pain, and they don't work at all for chronic pain. The Huffington Post recently reported that 47% of all Americans suffer with some form of chronic pain. If you recovered with any of these techniques from your back pain, headaches, or joint pain, you don't need to read on. Conventional medicine worked for you, and you don't have chronic pain.
But the rest of you, the 47 percenters, are still suffering. When you are obviously not responding to any treament, and all treatments, after too long a period of time, conventional practitioners send you back for more testing, then more waiting, then more of the same treatment. Some of you seem to get some solace when you finally get a diagnosis. But if your diagnosis is fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic pack pain, spinal stenosis, migraines, irritable bowel syndrome, neuropathy, psoriasis, eczema, scleroderma, and more, your future is bleak. What is the cause of fibromyalgia? According to one drug commercial, fibromyalgia is caused by overactive nerves. But what causes overactive nerves? And what is the solution? besides powerful immuno-suppressors that cause serious side effects, including death.
Chronic pain and pain are two different things, but are treated exactly the same. If you strain your lower back and consult a chiropractor, the doctor will write you off work for a few weeks, and treat you for three or four weeks and you usually recover. But if you don't, what happens? The doctor extends your disability, and you get more of the same treatment. And after way too long, if you don't recover, it's because you would get worse if you didn't continue with treatment. The medical doctor will also write you off work for three or four weeks, and prescribe an anti-inflammatory, a pain pill, and maybe a muscle relaxer. You will usually recover. But if you don't, what happens? The doctor will extend your disability, and renew your prescriptions--more of the same.
Eventually you are disabled and you never go back to work, and you take pills forever while you sit on the couch and don't get better.
The assumption is that physical pain is caused by physical stress. But when all physical stress has been removed, like not going to work, and you don't get better, there must be something else going on. It is always assumed that lower back pain is caused by bending and lifting and twisting and accidents. But wat about headaches? You didn't bonk your head, but you keep getting headaches.
Chronic Pain Gone 90 Days expalins what causes pain, what causes chronic pain, an how to get rid of it. Chronic Pain is chemical, not physical, caused by specific substances in foods, food additives, supplements, and medication. Has your chiropractor or medical doctor ever asked you what you eat? or drink? or what medication you are taking? The answers to those questions will lead to the solution, all explained in my book.
The next posting at this sight will explain headaches.
